In this exercise, participants will learn to foster alignment and a shared understanding of the aspirations and preconditions of a chosen mission project.

Steps

Step 01

INTRODUCE THE COLLABORATION MODEL

Explain the Collaboration Model framework to the team, highlighting the key components (purpose, capacities, initiatives, activities, impact, preconditions, resources, and costs) that contribute to a successful mission project plan.

Step 02

DEFINE THE PURPOSE AND CAPACITIES

Articulate the mission project's purpose, describe the overarching goal or vision, and outline the capacities (skills, knowledge, and resources) required to achieve the project's objectives.

Step 03

IDENTIFY INITIATIVES AND ACTIVITIES

List the specific initiatives and activities needed to execute the mission project, considering the various stages of development, stakeholders involved, and potential challenges.

Step 04

ESTIMATE IMPACT, PRECONDITIONS, AND COSTS

Assess the potential impact of the mission project, determine the preconditions necessary for success, and estimate the resources and costs required to implement the initiatives and activities.

Step 05

ALIGN AND REFINE THE MODEL

Share the completed collaboration model with the team, discussing areas of alignment or disagreement, and iteratively refine the model as needed to ensure a shared understanding of the project's purpose, requirements, and expected outcomes.
